Premiere Pro CC 2015 will definitely make for a smoother and faster editing of h.265 clips from the Samsung NX-1 and as other cameras support the h.265 format, the inclusion of this codec in their program suite will certainly facilitate the process of editing and encoding to this fine codec. When I added transitions between the h.265 clips (cross dissolves, wipes, etc.) at full resolution the lMBPr dropped a few frames, but if I selected half resolution, which still yields an excellent image output, no frames were dropped even with these transitions in place. I also tried the new Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 on mid-2012 Macbook Pro with Retina Display, and the clips played back very very well with only an occasional frame drop. Hardware-accelerated Encoding is used to accelerate the encoding performance while exporting the timeline in H.264/AVC and HEVC codecs.

Previous versions of Premiere Pro CC 2015 and earlier have not made effective use of the AMD D700 graphics cards, but that seems to have been rectified in this latest update to Premiere Pro. I am using a late 2013 Mac Pro 12-core machine with 64 GB of RAM, and two AMD D700 video cards each having 6 Gb of video ram. The playback of h.265 clips from my NX-1 in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 is a vast improvement over the halting and rather reluctant playback of the same clips in Power Director 14 using Windows 10 under Bootcamp.
